ukbankconv vs StatementPro: UK converter comparison
By Arron Child. Claims checked 24 July 2026; stale pricing or capability claims enter a 90-day review queue.
Evidence level: published-record comparison. We checked the vendor's public pages on 24 July 2026. We have not run its output through our parity test, so this page makes no claim about its extraction accuracy.
Short answer
StatementPro publishes a broader UK workflow with more banks, categorisation, analytics, batch and team features. ukbankconv is narrower—seven certified layouts—but statements are processed in the browser and every claimed verified result must pass deterministic running-balance and closing-balance checks.
The right choice depends on whether broad workflow features or a narrow local, reconciliation-first converter matters more for the job.

| Price | 10 pages free per month; public tiers checked from £29 for 150 pages | Unlimited free preview; one account export, then £9/10 or £29/50 non-expiring exports |
Where the competitor is stronger
StatementPro's public pages describe a wider UK bank list, an AI-assisted fallback for additional layouts, categorisation, analytics, batch work, and plans designed for teams and higher page volumes. Those are material advantages for practices that want a broader statement-processing workspace rather than a single-document converter.
Its page-based pricing can also suit statements with predictable page counts, and the monthly free-page allowance lets a prospective user inspect the current product without starting on a paid tier.
Where ukbankconv is stronger
The statement never leaves the browser tab. That is a directly testable architectural difference from a cloud workflow, even one that publishes deletion periods.
ukbankconv also publishes per-layout certification results and defines "verified" narrowly: the extracted rows must satisfy the statement's printed running balances, direction rules, and opening-to-closing equation. Credits are per exported document rather than per page, never expire, and previews remain free.
That narrower scope is not broader capability. Statements outside the seven certified layouts, scans, encrypted files, and uncertified variants are refused.
What neither published record proves
Marketing descriptions, bank lists, deletion statements, and words such as "reconciled" do not establish extraction parity. A fair accuracy result requires the same labelled fixtures, corruptions, row-level comparison, and false-verification tests for both products.
We have not run StatementPro through that protocol. This page therefore compares only dated public claims and observable ukbankconv architecture; it does not rank extraction accuracy.
